Scholarships

The St. Peters RC annually offers up to seven $500.00 scholarships for St. Charles County residents.

Five of the scholarships are for high school seniors entering any accredited college.

One scholarship is available for a high school senior entering St. Charles Community College.

The RC also offers one scholarship for a “non-traditional” student entering St. Charles Community College. A “non-traditional” student is considered to be a high school graduate or possessing a GED that is starting college after a gap between high school and college.

Applicants must be St. Charles County residents and have a 3.0 or better GPA on a 4.0 scale.  The application is available under the Scholarship Application tab on this website.

In 2010 a total of $3,000 was donated for college scholarships by the St. Peters RC.

The applications are evaluated by members of the St. Peters RC Scholarship Committee.  Awards were based on academic merit, leadership abilities demonstrated through projects at school, church, sports or community involvement, a hand written essay and financial need.

All scholarship recipients attended a RC meeting at which time the RC learned of their goals for the future and presented to each recipient their scholarship checks. We offer congratulations to all of these fine young men and women and wish them well in their future endeavors!
