Peters Rotary Club members awarded five scholarships to students attending
colleges or universities in the fall semester 2007.
The
following seniors were awarded over all other applicants and received $500
scholarships:

The St. Peters Rotary Club’s Scholarship Committee chose the traditional
and a non-traditional scholarship recipient attending the
St. Charles
Community College
, each an award of
$500. They are Deanna O'Mara (traditional) graduate of Fort Zumwalt South, and, Jennifer
Doskal (non-traditional). Jennifer is a graduate of St. Dominic in
1991. She had previously received a B.A. degree in H.R. in 1995. She is
returning to college to obtain her degree in nursing.
The applications are evaluated by select members of the St. Peters Rotary
Club scholarship Committee. Awards were based on academic merit,
leadership abilities demonstrated through projects at school, church,
sports or community involvement, a hand written essay and financial need.
